My Ogame journey - Part 2

It has become a time consuming game ever since I was hooked to it.
First of all you have to build up your mines, research your technology to build more things, and after you've build your mines high enough you start to worry about being raid by other players. Then you start building your defenses, try to use up your resources every day in order not to leave too much resources unattended. Every morning you wake up to check whether you've been robbed.
Well, after a while you've found that somebody makes more money by stealing from your farm. You're not satisfied to be a farmer any more. You want to develop your own fleets. Then you have to research, upgrade your shipyard. You go out to hunt several times, you choose your target carefully. You spend hours studying the galaxy (I was always wondering how many astronauts will be born from this game), just to find a valuable target.
Now you've got a big fleet, with 100 battleships and you are thinking of yourself as the king of the universe...... But no, what is that red message? Somebody sends his fleet to attack you? No way! Let's check out what a bold guy he is - wait a minute, did you see what I just saw? Is it a fleet with 400 battleships? OMG, I need to run! Runaway with all my precious resources!
Ever since then, you have got a habit to do an FS before you go to bed every night - yes, I mean EVERY night.

Nintendo Dual Screen Lite

My game world has changed: PS2 has been sealed for more then 5 months. And I've bought an NDSL in May.
Ever since then, I've been playing it almost every day.
Most played games are:

Nintendogs - Angie wants a Germany sheperd dog, but I have to gain 14000 points in order to activate it. Now I've been playing with my Bobo - the cute female dog for 3 months.

New Super Mario Bros - with a review of 9.0 points from Gamespot, it is a good game. I am not a good Mario player, but I can try this game out from time to time. The only "bad" point of it is that it doesn't have auto-save function. "Save" option is only available after several scenes or spending 5 golden coins.

Brain Age - The only game Angie plays and she is really the queen of calculation. She can finish the 100 calculation in 1 minute.

Tetris - Though it is an old fasioned puzzle game, but it is the king of puzzle games. Now with the WIFI support, I can play against other players online.

My Ogame Journey - Part 1

It was about 2 months ago. I saw a post on tgfcer.com (TV Game Fan Club), introducing a game that can be played in the working hours.

I could not remember which day it was. I was quite bored at that time, so I followed the link in the post and registered a user on a server of Taiwan (Traditional Chinese version of Ogame). After studying the background of Ogame, I've found that this game was originated from Germany, and it has a large group of gamers from Europe. It is very popular there and lots of people are spending day after day in the Ogame world. A group of people even developed a firefox plugin called FoxGame for Ogame. Other tools (resource calculator, combat simulators etc.) are also available out there on the internet.

I made a decision to join the English version instead of Chinese one, one reason is there are more resources out there for the English version; another reason is - I hate to say this - I've heard that Chinese gamers are not famous for their good reputation in online games.
I went to www.ogame.org and registered a user in Universe 8 - which was ramdomly given by the server - from then on I've started my journey in the enormous Ogame world.
